Personal Philosophy:

"I believe in doing the least invasive surgical procedure necessary to achieve the desired outcome for the patient. This ensures the best results with the minimum risk. I always discuss the advantages and disadvantages of different approaches to treatment with patients, so they can make up their mind as to how they want to deal with their condition. I refer to consultant colleagues in other branches of medicine, including within gynaecology, whenever the patient would be better served by a doctor who is more expert in a particular area than I am. Given the increasing complexity of medicine, this approach is key to the best possible care."
