A sexually transmitted infection (STI) is sometimes also referred to as a sexually transmitted disease (STD). The old fashioned term was "venereal disease". STIs are infections that are spread by sexual activity.
Types of STI include the following:
- Chlamydia
- Gonorrhoea
- Trichomonas Vaginalis
- Herpes
- HIV
- Syphilis
- Mycoplasma Genitalium
