Online patient consultations

In an article titled The Doctor Will Text You Now the WSJ looks at the growing trend for patients to visit physicians on-line. Though the numbers are still small online care in the USA is growing as more health insurers begin paying doctors for treating patients virtually.  Fees are lower than for traditional in-office appointments but presumably an increase in number of patients seen per clinic will lead to an increase in bottom line revenue.
